Step by step instructions
• Warm the stove to medium to high heat.
• Pour olive oil into the pan.
• Add ground cinnamon.
• Stir with spatula.
• Bring the mixture to the boil.
• Place a strainer funnel with cheesecloth on top into a glass bottle.
• Pour the mixture slowly through the cheesecloth.
• Push down the remaining mixture with the spatula to release the juices into the bottle.
• Optional: put your gloves on and squeeze the cheesecloth to get every drop. The mixture is hot, so be careful.

How To Make Scented Pine Cones With Essential Oils

This is a very easy project, but don’t leave it to the last minute; the pine cones need 4 weeks to cure after the scent is applied.

Supplies needed
• Pine cones
• Cinnamon bark oil, or you can make your own cinnamon oil
• Tin foil
• Baking tray
• Oven
• Spray bottle
• Big zip-lock bag

Step by step instructions
• Place pine cones on baking tray lined with tin foil.
• Put in the oven at 200F for about 45 minutes.
• Allow them to cool down.
• Put the pine cones in the bag.
• Spray the pine cones liberally with water.
• Drip 4 drops of essential oil into the bag.
• Zip-lock the bag and shake it well.
• Let it sit for 4 weeks.

How To Refresh Scented Pine Cones

• Place the pine cones in a zip-lock bag.
• Drip 2 or 3 drops of cinnamon oil into the bag.
• Leave to sit for 1 to 2 days.
